Still the movie to see

The Dark Knight is Still Rising
(Updated 7/26/2012)

But here's what else hits this weekend

So there are apparently two movies coming out this weekend to a theater near you, but much in the same way that the movies released in the wake of the Avengers didn't really matter, it will more than likely be the same case this time around for Step Up Revolution and The Watch.

I can't honestly recommend seeing either movie if you haven't seen The Dark Knight Rises already, and to be honest, even if you have, you should probably just go see that again. But if movies that make you question what it is to be a man or how to cope with failure isn't really what you're in the mood for this weekend, you've got at least one solid option.

Originally Neighborhood Watch, changed due to the tragedy in Florida

The Watch is a comedy starring some pretty big heavy hitters, like Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Jonah Hill. It's the story about a neighborhood watch group that find themselves fending off an alien invasion. It's a neat high concept comedy that might be a nice refresher from the super hero filled summer that I'm sure you've had.

Step Up Revolution, however, might as well be called Step Up To Retirement. It's time to put old grandpa Step Up to bed, and permanently. Do the world a favor and don't pay to see this movie, the less money it makes, the less likely it is I have to deal with another sequel.

Seriously, please see something else. Thanks

But just in case you don't care about my general well being, and find yourself drawn to the dance, I've decided to do you a solid and still list it in this week's article.
