So, what's on my weekend agenda? Well, let's see.....

It's a weekend of music, art, and more music!

Enjoy the 2nd Annual City Fest at the Wenonah Park and Friendship Shell in Downtown Bay City this Sunday, September 16th, 2012 from 10am-10pm.

Brought To You By LABADIE SCION, this event is FREE to the public, and is a family friendly event featuring talented Local, Regional and National acts.

Headlining the evening is 'The Detroit Doors Tribute Band' which starts at 7:00pm sharp. Proceeds will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Bay City.

On Thursday, prior to heading into the weekend, gather on the streets of Downtown Bay City in front of Cat's Meow for the Bay Area Chamber Business After Hours.

Do-All, Inc with co-hosts Ideal Party Store and The Bay County Growth Alliance will be hosting the event on September 13, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The Streets will be closed for this END OF SUMMER DOWNTOWN BLOCK PARTY.

Two large tents will be placed in the middle of the 800 block of Washington Avenue with great food, music, prizes and live entertainment.

Bay City also sees in another annual event with the 1st Mission of Thrust on Saturday, September 15th. Created by independent artists to provide showcases for original art, this event is sure to please those who love music, fashion, art, film and more. For those who have a taste for high energy, avant-garde and unusual entertainment, this event will be sure to deliver.

It will be held at Water Street Warehouse within the Tri-City Brewery complex at 3020 N. Water St., Bay City, MI. Thrust will feature a variety of artists, musicians, DJ's from around the state, bands, performance artists and include live performances by GL&M Dolls and much, much more.

For 18 years of age and older, the event runs from 5p-Midnight and although tickets are available at door, to the capacity of the venue, guests are recommended to purchase their tickets early, as they are going fast!
