Standish Class Reunion Held at Krzysiak's House Restaurant

Old friends from Standish High School got together at Krzysiak's House Restaurant recently for their annual class re-union.

The Standish High School Class of 1949 meets every year to reminisce and re-live the Good Old Days.

This is the group's fifth straight year at Krzysiak's House Restaurant. In previous years, the class met at Iva's Chicken Dinner Restaurant in Sterling.

According to the class members, there were 39 class members back in 1949. Class members travel to the re-union from all over the state of Michigan -- Saginaw, Detroit, Flint and Lapeer.

Between fifteen and twenty attend each year. Close to twenty were on hand at Krzysiak's House Restaurant for the 2012 re-union -- the class's 63RD anniversary.
