There was a slight glitch as employees from Wolgast and O'Donnell's Earthworks Tree Service attempted to "plant" a twenty-six foot Christmas at the entrance of Wenonah Park (at the end of Center Avenue) in Downtown Bay City.
The tree is scheduled to be decorated and then "lit up" at the start of the Bustle by the Bay event scheduled December 6-9. Bustle by the Bay Executive Director Darraugh Opelski said "there's a problem with insurance" but she was sure that "it will all work out."
Bustle by the Bay is a First Annual event and is sponsored by Maier and Associates Financial Group and Graff Chevrolet in Bay City. Planned events include:
tree decorating challenge,
wine and beer tasting
tacky sweater contest
live entertainment
