BaySail launched Science under Sail in 1998, since then 37,969 students have come aboard the Appledore Schooners and taken part in this award winning program.
That is 1,186 classes that have stepped out of the school to come aboard our ships and learn first hand what it means to be engaged with the natural world around them.
We know this is an experience they will remember: an experience that may turn them from disinterested bystanders into genuine environmental stewards.
