Every Man Owns A Socket Set

January 16, 2013
By: Josh Sharrow

I've never claimed to be much of a manly man. Growing up without a father will somehow do that to you. I know my dad would be proud of this article. I don't know what a monkey wrench is and I don't have an adapter for my socket set. Hell, until last week, I never owned my own socket set.

While waiting for Guitar Center to open the other day I aimlessly wandered into Harbor Freight.

It was sitting on a shelf!

Right in front of me!

Like it was meant to be! An almost complete socket set for only $2.98! Only 2 sockets missing. Seems like a deal. That's right I am now the proud owner of a socket set. I feel more like a man just typing that.

Yesterday, I decided to put my socket set to use, except the socket I need is one of the 2 that is missing.

Logic should have told me this would happen.
