City Officials Take Part In Opening Day Ceremonies

SE Little League President Ken Hauger welcomes players and parents.

Bay City Mayor Robert J. Katt and City Manager Robert V. Bellman were on hand at Cass and Michigan (St. Hyacinths) for the opening day ceremonies for Bay City SE Little League.

Team introductions, comments by league officials and the ceremonial "first pitch" were all part of the opening day festivities.

Players and coaches paraded onto the field for the Little League pledge and a rendition of the Star Spangled Banner. Balloons were released on cue and the call of "PLAY BALL" brought players onto the field for the 2005 season opener.
