The Bay Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to participate in the exciting program Reading is Bay County's Business, March 1-29, 2013. The program focuses on reading to kindergarten through fifth grade classrooms and offers an opportunity for professionals to share information about their chosen career with students.
Participating is not only fun, it is easy! The time commitment is small, usually 30 minutes, however the impact is significant. We would like to invite you to participate as a volunteer reader.
The Chamber will schedule one 30 minute reading visit compatible with your schedule, and then provide you with a confirmation letter and tips for what to do during the visit.
For more information or to become a volunteer reader, please contact Jo Ellen Strieter, Director of Education, Programs & Events, no later than February 1, 2013, by calling your Bay Area Chamber at (989) 893-4567 or
