Chamber Seeks Nominations For Annual Awards

A number of awards will be presented at your Bay Area Chamber of Commerce 130th Annual Meeting to recognize the efforts and hard work of its members. This year's Annual Meeting is scheduled for March 21, 2013.
All nomination forms MUST be submitted no later than Friday, February 15, 2013.
We urge you to nominate your company or a person that excels professionally and personally for one of the following awards:
The
Business Hall of Fame Award was established in 1986 to recognize the outstanding contributions of Bay Area business people to our community.

The
ATHENA Award was established locally in 1990 and is presented to a person who is recognized for professional excellence, community service and for actively assisting women in their attainment of professional excellence and leadership skills.

The
Family Friendly Employer Award is given to local employers to recognize their efforts in assisting employees with the challenges of balancing work and family.

The
Leadership Alumni Community Service Award was established in 1998 to honor graduates of the Leadership Bay County program who exemplify the principles of community leadership. Nominations can only be made by Leadership graduates.

The
Energize YPN Award was created in 2011 to recognize a member of the Energize Bay Area Young Professionals Network who is an emerging leader in the community both personally and professionally. The nominee must be an Energize member and show excellence not only in his/her career, but also community service work done outside of business hours.
