Rotary welcomed the Group Study Exchange team from South Korea to its meeting last Tuesday. The team will spend a month in the area while a Michigan team is in their country.

GSE is a program for young professionals with the goal of learning to understand another country's business, customs, and people. The team arrived in Michigan about a week ago. After today's meeting they were scheduled to visit more businesses in the area. That evening they would be honored at a Pizza Party at the Chadwicks house. On Wednesday they would enjoy a traditional pot-luck held in Pinconning by the Northern Bay and Arenac Rotary Club.

The meeting was a joint affair with members of the Morning Rotary Club. Several people from the Northern Bay and Arenac club were also in attendance as well as a number of guests.

After a few gracious words by the Team Leader Pak, translated by Lee, the team showed a video that included a narrated tour of the team's country then a short introduction by each of the team members with pictures taken in their home areas.

The clubs were then treated to a presentation of traditional Korean percussion music. The instruments were described before the presentation and the group were dressed in costumes appropriate to the music.
