After all the votes were counted in late March,
Last Choice Country stood alone at the top of the list of radio stations in the Great Lakes Bay Region.
"It is just outstanding," said Last Choice Country's Josh Sharrow. "I'm really excited that we won "Best Radio Station" in the Review Magazine Awards," Sharrow added. "Especially because of the Big Brother type FM Stations we were up against."
"It's just an awesome honor," added co-anchor Shawn Doyle. "It feels good to get the best of big FM stations," Doyle said. "We're very, very honored to receive the recognition. It means a lot to us."
Last Choice Country --
a 24/7 INTERNET station -- began broadcasting from a spare bedroom back in December 2010. Last year, the INTERNET station was nominated for the Review Award. This year they were voted NUMBER ONE.
"Without the help of countless individuals, amazing listeners and devoted advertisers, this would never be possible," said Josh Sharrow after the awards ceremony. "This is just really cool and we're very proud."
