Celebrate Children's Book week with the Bay County Library System. Children of all ages and their families are invited to attend the following FREE, creative performances, funded by a grant from Dow Corning:

Martina Hahn: Fairy Tales Revisited Speed Painting Event
Monday, May 13 at 6:30 pm
Wirt Public Library, 500 Center Ave., Bay City

Watch and listen as Martina creates a Story Speed Painting! Hear the history fairy tales and learn about their original versions. During the program, Martina will create a detailed painting a 5' x 5' canvas in approximately 6 minutes! This is truly a must-see!

Cooperfly Puppet Troupe featuring Kevin Kammeraad and Justin Haveman
A Variety of Puppet Vignettes in D-major and G-minor
Thursday, May 16 at 6:30 pm
Sage Library, 100 E. Midland St., Bay City

Two artists, a cast of puppets, a variety of vignettes, a suitcase of songs, and a bundle of energy all come together to interact, invigorate, and leave audiences feeling better than before!
