State Theatre Set To ROCK May 18th

Like A Storm Headlines Evening of Rock

The historic State Theatre plays host to an evening of rock on Saturday, May 18th, 2013 when national touring band Like A Storm comes to town.

The band, which hails from New Zealand are known for hard hitting riffs and edgy ballads. LAS has become a veritable powerhouse on stage as well as in the studio.



Prior to setting out on their own tour, which began this May in Michigan, Mark Tremonti (Alter Bridge/Creed) and Brent Smith (Shinedown) asked the band out on tour after hearing their music. Myles Kennedy of Alter Bridge/Slash say these guys are "total pros with great songs and great attitudes". Opening for the headliners is local heavy metal hitters, Chop House.

Doors open at 6pm and show starts at 7pm. Tickets are available at the State Theatre box office or online. Tickets, if still available, are also being sold at the door.
