Yank & Brit Bands Battle In Wenonah Park

The Bay Arts Council's Wednesdays in The Park series kicked off on Wednesday June 12th with a rumble.

Well . . . maybe not a rumble . . . more like a BATTLE . . .of The Bands that is.

The Bay Arts Council hosted The Yanks against the Brits in Bay City's Wenonah park.

Complete with 60's costumes, the Ontario Based British Beat 66 & Bay City's own, The Paisley Fogg headlined the one day event.

The musical "BATTLE" was set up as a fundraiser for the Bay Arts Council, and according to Director Matt Reid the event was a success regardless of weather. "Thank you to everyone who came out," Reid said. "We had a lot of fun. I think the weather was a concern for many people and attendance was a little lighter than we had hoped."
