Cast Iron Chef Charity Competition

As part of the new Great Lakes Bay Region festival, Fall In...Art and Sol, members of a-la-cARTe, Bay City's non-profit arts and culture collaborative, will face off in a two day competition you won't want to miss! Bay City's first annual Cast Iron Chef Charity Competition will take place Saturday-Sunday, October 12-13.
Each of a-la-cARTe's eight organizations will have a three member team paired with a student from the Bay-Arenac ISD Culinary Program. Teams will compete (schedule below) on Saturday, October 12 with the winners of each round competing in the
championship round on Sunday, October 13 at 5 pm at the State Theatre. Admission to the preliminaries is free. Admission to the championships, featuring a chance to win one of eight fabulous raffle prizes, food samples and more, is $10 per person or $5 with a non-perishable food item. Teams will have to create a dish...with a surprise twist!

Proceeds support the Bay-Arenac ISD Culinary Program and a-la-cARTe (Bay Arts Council, Bay City Players, Bay Concert Band, Bay County Historical Society and Museum, Bay County Library System, Delta College Planetarium, State Theater and Studio 23/The Arts Center).
