26th Annual Gift of Reading

About the program: Beginning November 1, 2013, individuals and agencies in our community are invited to donate new books or money to purchase new books for children in Bay County. Area agencies arrange for the books to be delivered to families. The Literacy Council receives a portion of the books to help children throughout the year.

How you can help: Money or new books may be donated to any library branch, bookmobile or the library system's administration office located at: 500 Center Avenue, Bay City, MI 48708. Donations can also be dropped off at the Literacy Council headquarters located at 407 West Ohio St., Bay City. In order to deliver in time for the gift giving season, donations are due by Saturday, December 7, 2013.
