The tourney is named after long time tournament director Lorri Brigham. Just under 30 teams from around the state saw action on Saturday and Sunday. The teams competed in six different divisions.

Bay City's Chad Krager was the only two-division champion winning the Open and Seniors divisions.

The Open finals saw Krager and his Saginaw partner Andrew Price out-shoot Lansing's Brandon Creamer and Kalamazoo's Don Kirkconnell in two games 21-11, 21-17 for the title.

In Men's B Lance Krager and Jim Price pulled off a tie-breaker win over Livonia's Jim Howland and Adrian's Rick Clewis 21-11, 17-21, 21-9. The Open champs and B champs just happen to be brothers.

In the C Division Bay City's Ralph Trepkowski and Pat O'Shea defeated Saginaw's Natalie Gilbert and Rick Kogelman 21-15, 21-10.

The Seniors Division (35 years or older) saw Chad Krager and Scott Wittbrodt over-power Ann Arbor's Ron Harris and Kalamazoo's Andy Mitchell in the finals 21-2, 21-16.

The Golden Masters (55 years or older) saw Ann Arbor's dynamic duo of Jim Sterken and Jim Swendris take out Bay City's Greg Keenan and Kalamazoo's Andy Mitchell 21-8, 21-11.

In the experimental division, Grab-Bag Open (partner random draw) Don Kirkconnell and Ron Harris out-scored Lansing's Joe Baldori and Jim Howland 21-15, 21-15.
