American Kitchen Announces Anniversary Celebration and New Promotions

American Kitchen Restaurant (207 Center Ave. in downtown Bay City) is happy to announce their first anniversary celebration from December 1st through December 8th, 2013.

Throughout the eight-day celebration, American Kitchen will be offering half-off on AK Staple Burgers and $5 off growler purchases and refills. In addition, they will be selling $20 American Kitchen gift cards for $10 (discount gift card quantity is limited, limit to 1 gift card per table, must pay in cash). Throughout the week, customers 21 and over will receive a sign-up slip with their tab. These slips will be entered into a drawing to be held on Sunday, December 8th at 3PM for prizes including gift cards, growlers, golf bags, beer mirrors and more (need not be present to win).

"Our first year in business really exceeded our expectations," says American Kitchen general manager Tony Jeske. "This is just a chance for us to thank everyone for their support the past year."

American Kitchen plans on taking advantage of the anniversary celebration to introduce a couple of new promotions at the popular downtown eatery. Half Off Taps & Apps will run every Monday through Thursday from 4PM-6PM and feature half off on any of AK's craft brews as well as half off on any appetizer.

A second promotion is a daily features menu that will change every month. The daily feature menu began in mid-November and has been very well received, offering dishes including all-you-care-to-eat lasagna Bolognese, black-pepper braised brisket and St. Louis Ribs. A new menu of features will debut on December 1st. "We're very lucky in that some of our customers visit American Kitchen several times each week," says executive chef Michael Sheskey. "When you have that level of customer loyalty, you want to be sure that you are always giving them something new to keep them coming back."

The daily features menu will run seven days a week, featuring a non-menu dish every Monday through Saturday, with the standing Sunday feature being half-off on the AK Staple Burger. Dishes range from seasonal foods to comfort foods with a twist and everything in between.
