A SPECIAL REQUEST
Rotary has the opportunity to sell (or buy)
50 Saginaw Spirit Hockey Tickets for "Rotary Night" at the game on Saturday, January 18 at 7:11 pm.
The tickets go for $12 each. If we sell 50 tickets, we will earn $5 per ticket ($250 total for the club).
We need to commit to this very soon. The Spirit will make promotional flyers that we can use.
If you are willing to sell a few tickets, please let Lee know immediately.

CLUB NEWS and ANNOUNCEMENTS
TWO COMMITTEE MEETINGS ON JANUARY 7:
The
By-laws Committee will hold its final meeting at 11:00 on January 7
before the regular meeting. Everyone is invited to this important meeting.
The
Rotary Centennial Committee will meet
AFTER the regular meeting on January 7.
The Centennial Committee will meet again on January 28 at 11:00am.
DUES INVOICES have been mailed for the January to June period. Please try to get these in soon. In the past we have waited until almost everyone has paid before making our payment to Rotary International. This time we plan to pay by the due date regardless. We hope to get everyone's dues promptly.

Jency Schnettler, the scholar whom our club sponsored, will present a program summarizing her experiences.
January 14, 2014: Community Advancement Network .
Rob Spurling of the Community Advancement Network will give an overview of his organization and discuss how it impacts non-profit organizations in the Great Lakes Bay Region. Speaker: Rob Spurling
January 21, 2014: International Projects.
The club's own Chuck Cusick will review our involvement with Adopt-A-Village in Guatemala and highlight opportunities for continued support.
