Fifty Shades of Fusion Coming To Arbeitoer Hall

An All Professional Belly Dance Fusion Show

January 14, 2014
By: Diane Szczepanski

The Arbeitoer Hall will be hosting a music and dance fusion event on January 25th, 2014. MeZnoTiK Tribal Fire and Fusion brings to the Tri City area a unique and spectacular event rooted in ancient Middle Eastern and North African historical dance fused with a modern and fanciful twist.

Fusion belly dance applies contemporary, industrial, vintage nouveau and cultural influences adding layers of unimaginable creativity. Professional dancers from near and far come to our area to share their love for this unique art.

This is a show that will leave you enraptured and inspired with the creative and exceptional talent scheduled to perform. Never before has a belly dance fusion show of this caliber been presented in the Tri-City area.

On this magical evening, women and men, dancers and musicians, of modern and ancient instruments will perform at Bay City's Arbeitoer Hall at 1304 S Wenona St.

These performers were incidentally introduced to this activity that quickly became and hobby, then a passion, and eventually a profession.

Billed as a "special surprise announcement" Jim Boz will be in the house. Boz has been studying and performing Middle Eastern Dance, Raks Sharki, and related fusion dance styles on 5 continents, traveling over a million miles and sharing a love of movement and music for nearly 20 years.

Beginning in 2010, Jim revisited his roots in electronic music, creating a signature blend of organic textures and electronic beats across 5 CD's of original "Electronic World Fusion" music, plus two additional CD's of audio tools for dancers & instructors.

His music is distributed internationally on iTunes, CDBaby, Amazon, Spotify, and other electronic services, along with his Belly Dance and World Fusion INTERNET radio station: Radio Shimmy.

Using his programming abilities, Jim performs his music live under the name JMBZ with a combination of samples, loops, an army of effects processors, and real time control, carefully synchronized with lighting effects.

The show starts at 7:30pm/Doors open 6:30 pm.
1304 S Wenona St Bay City, MI.

Advance tickets are suggested. $15.00 online/$18.00 at the door the night of the show.
