3 Chord Wonder Fills Tri-City Brewery

A strong mid-week crowd filled Tri City Brewing this past Wednesday for the first performance by 3 Chord Wonder. An acoustic duo consisting of local music veterans Tod Walraven on guitar and Shawn Shuart handling vocals.

Walraven describes their song selection as "A combination of classic rock and pop." On this particular night the crowd was treated to an eclectic set list that varied from REM to Judas Priest to Jackson Browne to Train.

Walraven and Shuart's friendship dates back to when they were band mates in the heavy metal band Ratchetjaw, still considered a favorite among local metalheads. "Shawn and I live near each other and last summer we got together and started strumming covers. This is our adulthood!" commented Walraven.
