What can you do this summer that includes FREE performances, workshops, movies and crafts, is open to ages birth through adult, AND will reward you with prize drawing entries and freebies just for participating?

Summer Reading Program June 9-August 9 at the Bay County Library System!

Start celebrating by attending one of the SRP Kick-Off Events below sponsored by a generous grant from Dow Corning. Nearly 70 summer events and programs can be found on the SRP flyer. You can also visit www.baycountylibrary.org for more information!

Gratitude Steel Band Interactive Family Concert (All ages)

While supplies last, everyone who signs up for Summer Reading Program receives a newly designed, reusable book bag courtesy of the Friends of the Bay County Libraries. Sign up beginning June 9 at any branch library. Find your program below:

ADULT PROGRAM: Literary Elements
Read to someone else, read by yourself, or listen to an audiobook this summer and make Summer Reading Program a family activity! Find an eBook from our OverDrive catalog at www.baycountylibrary.org (access restricted to Bay County residents only). Turn in your log by August 9 and you will be entered to win a gift card, a Kindle Fire HD or an iPad mini!

TEEN PROGRAM (Grade 6-12): Spark A Reaction
How would you like to win a Kindle Fire HD or an iPad mini?! Read for 16 hours, turn in your log, and it could be yours! All teens who complete a log get a paperback book.

CHILDREN'S PROGRAM (Birth-Grade 6): Fizz Boom Read
After completing the first reading log, children may choose a free book, then may read on to complete additional logs. For every additional log completed, children are entered into a prize drawing. Grades K-6 are also invited to participate in the Design-A-Bookmark contest. Winners will have their bookmark professionally printed and distributed in our libraries.
