Founded in 1982 by Peg Rowley, the Bay Area Community Foundation celebrated it's 32nd Annual Report with a luncheon at the Doubletree Hotel in Bay City, MI on Monday, May 19, 2014.
Nearly 100 community business leaders and volunteers gathered to hear some of the success stories of the Foundation. Over 9 million dollars has been granted and distributed between 2007-2013 and over 3 million scholarships to students have been awarded in that same time period.
Housed in Bay City's Pere Marquette Depot, under the guidance of Eileen Curtis, President and CEO, the foundation continues to improve the quality of life in the Bay Community thru awards and grants for public safety, public health and education and much, much more.
