"Elated" is how Deborah St. Hillaire of The Divalution felt when she found out she would be receiving at least $5,000 from members of The Tri-City Shark Tank.
"When one of the crowd members decided to give $1,000 all of the sharks seemed to get on board." said Tammie Weidner, Partner in The Divalution.
St. Hillaire was the only presenter to secure an investment, during the second presentation of the Tri City Shark Tank. St. Hillaire says the money will be used to secure equipment for a new all women's radio network (www.w4divas.com), merchandise, website development and begin the framework to allow women entrepeneurs the opportunity for low interest financing.
After not receiving a deal during the first Shark Tank event, St. Hillaire was determined to get a deal. "I saw that some of the sharks were interested in what we are doing, all I wanted to do was inspire them to believe in The Divalution." "Our motto is no woman stands alone, and we are starting to prove that motto to be true, right here in Bay City!"
The Divalution is a movement to unite women through red wine and laughter, for the mutual elation of human kind. The Divalution spreads the word through their weekly internet radio show "The Divalution Show", which can be heard every Tuesday at 7:00pm on www.thedivalution.com and www.lastchoicecountry.com
