On Thursday October 2nd at 9:30am the Bay City Lions Club has purchased a truck load of food to distribute at the Salvation Army 401 Tenth St. Bay City, Mich. No camping is allowed; folks can begin to line up at 7:00. Please bring bags or boxes to carry your items. Food will be handed out until it is gone. For information please call the Salvation Army 989-893-3041.
The Bay City Lions Club is a local service club helping the community in many ways. We provide glasses and hearing aids for those who need to see or hear and are not able to afford them. At many local events we offer a Kid's Sight Screening to detect possible vision problems in advance. Seeing eye dogs, white canes, food baskets at Christmas, Children's Christmas Party are many projects offered by the Bay City Lions Club. On top of that members have a great time helping make these projects a success.
For information on how to become a Bay City Lion, call Rick Nelsen 989-892-5055 or come to one of our weekly Lunch meetings on Wednesday's at The Atrium 1000 N. Water St. in Downtown Bay City.
