MARRIOT PLANS: Courtyard Interior Photos Released by Hotel Chain

Opening Delayed For New Deluxe 100 Room Lodging on Riverfront

The new Bay City Courtyard by Marriott, planned on the Saginaw River at Uptown at RiversEdge, shows modern hotel decor at its spectacular best.

The new hotel's address is 2 East Main Street. Phone number is 989-634-1370.

The Marriott hotel chain has released interior photos of the new Bay City hostelry on its website, a few of which are shown here by mybaycity.com.

The Marriott chain has pushed back its anticipated project opening of December 2014 to February 2015 and now to 2016.

Highlights of the hotel are listed: "New lobby experience offering engaging technology and inviting, flexible spaces to work and relax. The Bistro offers healthy choices, a variety of breakfast and dinner options, an evening bar, and specialty beverages made with Starbucks® coffee."

The hotel also advertises free high speed Internet, fitness center, pool and meeting event space.

The hotel also has a Facebook page, Bay City Courtyard by Marriott.
