Retire? Not Me! -- If I Did
I'd be Cruising on the Princess Wenonah

I don't know how you're planning on spending your retirement years . . . but I think this 86 year-old Florida lady has her bullets aimed "right on target."

Woman pays $164K per year
To live on luxury cruise ship

The headline caught my eye.

Funny, I had never thought of this as an option. But then, I've never been on a cruise . . . not even a 3-hour cruise . . . (Gilligan's Island reference.)

That price tag of $164,000 per year is a bit out of reach. That's $3,150 per week and I don't need you to help with the math, Josh.

But it got me thinking.

How much a week could I really afford? I started working backward to see what kind of annual number I could come up with.

After all, I got money set aside. I got 401K money. I got Social Security "Rocking Chair" money. I think I could easily . . . oh, hell . . . let's go high . . . I could manage to throw $100 per week at the cruise idea.

That's wayyyyyyyyy OVER $5,000+ Annually.

DUH! It hit me like a ton of bricks.

Of course . . .

Gee, Mr Obvious, I didn't make the connection.

There it was. The answer. Right in front of my nose. Why hadn't I thought of it before . . . The Princess Wenonah..

I'll contact the Fournier family next week to make the arrangements. I know for a fact that they have dinner cruises . . . Perfect!

Who says you can't learn a lot from surfing the INTERNET?

Thanks "little old Florida lady" . . . You're a life saver.
