Midland, MI., April 8, 2015 - Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Great Lakes Bay Region wrapped up another successful Bowl for Kids' Sake fundraiser thanks to the efforts of bowlers and sponsors across the area. With all five bowling events now complete, more than $58,000 has been raised to support positive mentoring relationships for our region's youth. This year's theme, "Shake, Rattle & Bowl," was a nod to the 1950's as the agency celebrates 60 years of serving children since 1955.
"We are humbled and want to thank the hundreds of bowlers who raised money on our behalf, our business sponsors, and the businesses who generously donated prizes for the events," said Susan Putnam, president and CEO, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Great Lakes Bay Region. "We would especially like to thank the bowling alleys who offered their facilities to make this fundraiser a success" Riverwood Lanes of Mt. Pleasant, Valley Lanes of Midland, State Lanes of Saginaw, and Monitor Lanes of Bay City, as well as the support of local media in helping us spreading the word."

All money raised from the event will go directly to support programs at Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Great Lakes Bay Region that enhance volunteer recruitment and screening, support existing matches, and create events to bring Bigs and Littles together.
"Without these funds, we would not be able to continue to grow our matches and impacting children who urgently need the positive influence of a mentor," said Putnam.
Looks like a strike to me!
