MOVIE REVIEW - Jurassic World

Holy Smokes! It was fantastic, fun, exciting, amazing!!

Yes, I went and saw "Jurassic World".

22 years ago we saw the original, "Jurassic Park" many times at the Theatre. The shows were fairly cheap back then. Jurassic World is one of those films I will also see time and time again.

The acting and casting was very good. I enjoyed all. However, I have to admit at the beginning I was hoping the female lead, Claire played by Bryce Dallas Howard, would get eaten by a dinosaur. I changed my mind soon enough, due to good character development. Chris Pratt was excellent as the hero, Owen. He's a good actor with a good sense of timing.

The special effects gave me more thrills and excitement than the original. They worked seamlessly. The story line moves well. Of course there is a little predictability but it doesn't hurt the story. It was "on the edge of your seat" exciting. Frankly the 124 minutes flew by. That was helped along by just the right amount of humor.

Obviously, I loved it and highly recommend it to all. Please don't take children under 6, they might get frightened and it may be too intense for them. But for the rest of you, go and enjoy!
