Sunday morning/afternoon was a great example of a Beautiful Winter's Day in Michigan. Approximately 25 degrees by noon. The recent snowfall made for a picturesque setting.
The sunshine, definately lifted spirits. Facebook comments gleamed with such posts as:
"The fresh powder with the sun shining looks like diamonds glistening. Michigan truly is a winter wonder land!"
"The view of Icicles and fresh snow glistening in the sun."
"What a gorgeous sun filled morning! Go out and get yourself some sun!"
"Driveway covered in Diamonds this morning, Beautiful!"
Hooters on the Saginaw River was no exception, It was a winter wonderland of snowmobiles and ice fisherman. Hooters is one of the primary destinations of Snowmobilers in the area.
The Hooters' car parking lot may have looked empty, but that's only because everyone had their snowmobile parked at Liberty Marina on the River.
