It was an 'over the top' performance by Steve Armstrong and the 25 cent Beer Band as they made their Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill debut -- located inside the Great Lake Crossing Mall in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Steve Armstrong and The 25 cent Beer Band is a local Bay City band who has grown extremely popular in the area. Band members include: Steve, Armstrong, Steve Hornak, Bruce Rupp, John Gannon, Dave Lone and Levi Goodwin.

Five Mitchell buses pulled out of the K-mart parking lot on Euclid in Bay City on Thursday night March 31st. Busses were filled with approximately 250 Steve Armstrong & The 25 cent Beer Band fans, family and friends on Friday early evening, headed south to Toby Keith's.

"It was over the top fun", said Denise Armstrong, who organized the five Mitchell buses for the big trip.

"We had approximately 500 people total of friends and family to the band and the members, including several from the Detroit area, and the ones that traveled from Bay City on their own," said Denise Armstrong.

Kenny Bott, The booking manager at Toby Keith's, was pleased with the band performance and has already asked Steve and the band back and is planning to have the band on a regular rotation.

The band will return to 'Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill' on Friday, April 8, 2011

Steve Armstrong said, "The night was everything I hoped for and more. I was overwhelmed by the outpouring of fan support . . . to think that we filled 5 Mitchell Motorcoaches." Armstrong said, "We wanted to thank Mitchell Motorcoach, a local company, who made it possible for our friends and fans to join us for the trip."

Toby Keith's Bar & Grill showcases an 85 foot guitar shaped bar, and seats more than 1,300 people. It is the sixth restaurant of its kind through-out the country, with many more locations in the planning stage. Auburn Hills is the only location currently open in Michigan.
