It was a fun night at Stevens Cycle Sales on M-13 just North of Bay City as Motorcycle enthusiasts and good friends gathered for Hot Winter Nights . . . an evening of great cycle deals, good food and a "darn good time."
There was "Red Solo Cup" music provided by LastChoiceCountry Radio. There was pulled pork. There were hot dogs, potato salad and baked beans. And Oh Yes . . . Beer.
All in all . . . A great night at Stevens Cycle Sales to kick a few tires and think about buying a new Motorcycle for Spring 2012.
"We do this three time a year," said Bill Stevens III, a third generation Stevens at Stevens Cycle. "This is our pre-Spring (Hot Winter Nights) get-together," Stevens went on. "We've got an even bigger event planned just a few weeks down the road for March 29th."
The March 29th Spring Event will be the Stevens company's 45th Anniversary.

Bill Stevens III went on to say that
Steve Armstrong and the 25-Cent Beer Band will be on hand for the big March 29th event. "Just like today, Stevens continued, "There will be prizes, big discounts as well as good food and beer."
The turnout was good but everyone agreed that crowds in the past have been bigger. After all . . . bottom line . . . it's a business promotion designed to show off new Motorcycle product lines.
"Weather might be a factor tonight," Bill Stevens (Senior) said, looking over the Hot Winter Nights crowd as they enjoyed the food and the Show Room full of Motorcycles. Stevens said weather forecasters had predicted up to 7 inches of snow and that might have kept some people home. "It's a little slower than we'd like, of course," Stevens continued. "But everyone's having a good time and that's all that really counts."

The weather forecast was for 7 inches of snow that never came. But the end-of-Winter event still drew a decent crowd. "What's not to like?" said Bill Stevens. "We've got great food and cold beer and some really great motorcycle deals."
