There Should be a "Statute of Limitations" on Missed Calls by Referees?

I Called the NBA Every Time That LeBron 'Walked With the Ball'

Hey, Lexi . . . LeBron is Sad for You
But he never has points taken away.

I'm sure all of you heard about the recent hubbub concerning the Lady's LPGA pro golfer who was penalized 4 strokes after a TV viewer notified tournament officials that Lexi had mis-spotted her ball on the green during the 3rd round of a Lady's Major golf tournament.

To add to the level of insanity here ... It was an email and the email came to golf officials on Sunday ... A day after the supposed infraction took place.

Just to be clear . . . The email came THE NEXT DAY. The player, Lexi Thompson, who had been leading comfortably after 13 holes on Sunday, ended up losing the tournament in a sudden-death playoff.

I have seen the TV footage.

In a word, this is horse "POCKEY." She was not cheating. It was a 12" putt.

Have you ever watched a Cleveland Cavaliers basketball game? I did -- yesterday.

AND, . . . Every time, LeBron James walked with the ball while driving the lane, and the refs missed it, I called the NBA. I called 6 times during the game.

Funny thing. They never called me back. No points were ever taken away from the Cavaliers -- even after my barrage of calls.

Turns out, if the points had been taken away, Cleveland would probably have lost the game instead of posting a win.

I must be missing something . . . I thought the new trend (LPGA Golf, anyway) was that the pro leagues wanted our help.

I can hardly wait for NFL football.

All of those holding calls that the refs miss on Sunday NFL . . . Yes, Siree! I'll be on the phone all day Sunday . . . texting, emailing, tweeting and snap chatting my butt off to make sure that all of the right calls are made. Let me know if you need any of this NBA or NFL contact info. I think this trend is going to be bigger than Fantasy Football.

Hey, Dummy! His hand is out of bounds.

Oh yeah . . . Did I forget to mention? Did anyone notice that the refs missed a crucial call during the last 49 seconds of the Gonzaga-North Carolina Championship Game Monday night?

LET ME HELP YOU CATCH UP -- With 49.1 seconds to play and North Carolina leading 66-65, NC's Meeks battled Gonzaga's Silas Melson for a loose ball. Video of the scramble showed NC's Meeks with his right hand out of bounds as he tried to snatch the ball from Melson.

The refs gave the ball to North Carolina . . . Hmmmm . . . . Seems like SOMEONE should have been making a phone call . .

I also heard that ESPN interns have been given the task of watching all of the Jack Nicklaus/Arnold Palmer/Tiger Woods' wins at Major Golf Tournaments. Maybe these guys don't have as many WINS as everybody we all think they do.
