If you're not watching "Blacklist" with James Spader, you're missing out. Spader is a rogue double-agent -- pretending to be a good old Bond-like spy named "Red" Reddington. Reddington has some undiscovered personal agenda that revolves around the well-being of the pretty face in the series -- Lizzie (Played by Magen Boone).

Yeah . . . it's that complicated.

Yes . . . it's that good

Reddington is a lot like House . . . but with a gun.

Mom's Got It Going

Undateable - Thumbs Up
"Undateable" is back for another season of rag-tag bar banter. The main characters seem to have settled into a more comfortable.

Chris D'Elia (He was Whitney's boyfriend on "Whitney") plays Danny and along with his bar-owner friend Justin, the two of them provide an entertaining half hour of enjoyable nonsense.

I was really "cranked" for the premise of "Last Man on Earth." How could it miss?

I've watched three episodes.

It missed. (SO FAR)

I'll give "LAST MAN" a little more time. I remember feeling the same way about Anna Faris and "MOM" when it started . . . And now Faris and her mom (Allison Janney) have really hit their stride in terms of smart, sophisticated humor.

Best two new shows this season . . . "Better Call Saul" and "Backstrom."

More about those two next week.

Give It a Chance
Time to get caught up on "Gotham" and then download Kevin Spacey ("House of Cards") from Netflix.

Gotta be caught up by Thursday when March Madness resumes.

I may have bit off more than I can chew as far as expecting a running total of the estimated body count on "The Following."

I honestly expected the numbers to be MUCH HIGHER. than a mere five (5) bodies per episode.

Here's the puny, running total body count after 5 episodes of The Following" -- Season #3.

Episode Five = +4 Bodies, Season Total = 25, Bodies/Episode = 5.0

  • An FBI security dude took an ice pick to the brain from Kyle
  • A second security guard was shot in mid-forehead by Daisy
  • Kyle took a bullet from Kevin Bacon
  • An evil lawyer lady was killed/burned to death with an iron . . .

(LINE OF THE WEEK) . . . "You don't have to kill me," the lawyer lady pleaded. THE REPLY BY BAD GUY MARK -- "You're already dead,"he grinned. "It's just about how much it's gonna hurt."

    Episode Four = +5 Bodies, Season Total = 21 Bodies/Episode = 5.2

  • One teenager named Reggie was thrown in front of a car by Mark.
  • Four firemen were either stabbed or axed during a cult mission by Kyle and Daisy

    Episode Three = +6 Bodies, Season Total = 16, Bodies/Episode = 5.5

  • Three members of a news team (All Knifed by Mark)
  • One random health care worker in an old folks home (Hammered by Neil)
  • One random Crucifixion by the macabre Neil
  • And finally, Neil was gunned down by the FBI (I'll miss Neil)

    Episode Two = +1 Body, Season Total = 11, Bodies/Episode = 5.5

  • One gruesome "Body in a Box" that will be long remembered.

    Episode One = +10 Bodies, Season Total = 10, Bodies/Episode = 10

  • Three in the hotel (Random Maid + Random Anniversary couple)
  • Three more random victims at the scene of Mark's twin brother's murder scene.
  • Four more random victims at Mark's mother's doppelganger re-enactment.
