Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Holds Annual Meeting

It a jam-packed, standing room only turnout at Doubletree Hotel in Bay City, Michigan on Thursday night.

Close to 400 business celebrities gathered for the 132nd Annual Meeting of the local Bay Area Chamber of Commerce.

Everybody that was anybody (On the Bay Area business scene) was on hand to celebrate an evening of recognition, celebration and general business.

The awards presentation was the highlight of the evening. Below is a list of the night's honorees and their awards:

Ambassador of the Year: Meri Sue Engers, Meadowbrook Insurance Group.

Ambassador All Star Awards: Kendra Christensen, COPOCO Community Credit Union; Meri Sue Engers, Meadowbrook Insurance; Amy Ford, Team One Credit Union; Trevor Keyes, Bay Future Inc.; John Mueller, Choice Office Products; Patsy Powell, New Dimensions Inc.

Energize Bay Area YPN Award: Trevor Keyes, Bay Future Inc.

Leadership Alumni Community Service Award: SVSU's Connie Schweitzer, a grad of Leadership Bay County.

ATHENA Award: Lisa Grills, YWCA Great Lakes Bay Region.

James A. Barcia Award for Excellence in Public Service: City Clerk & Deputy Bay City Mgr Dana Muscott.

Business Hall of Fame inductee: Walter Moore CPA, retired partner of Laine Appold.

Pat O'Brien - EMCOR, Inc.
