It's become an annual family event. And it's one that both adult and children enjoy -- It's Tommy Anderson's Yearly Magic Performance during Sidewalk Days -- Friday at the Falls in Downtown Bay City.
Anderson's sophisticated performance and smooth delivery brings kids close to the stage and provides a hands-on magical adventure.
"My kids just love Tommy," said one excited mom as she gathered her kids into an organized pile on the floor in front of the stage. "We got here early to make sure we got a good seat," she went on. "We come every year, like clockwork."
Anderson mixes magic words, wands, sticks, card tricks and sleight-of-hand in a fast-paced delivery that has earned him high standing in local entertainment circles.
Anderson is always quick with a smile and a funny quip. "I'm not the best magician in the world," Anderson says, as a smile fills his face. "But I'm the best in my pay range." The laughter from the the crowd fills the outdoor theater . . . and the show goes on.
