The ground was a little wet from the afternoon rains, but it didn't dampen the spirits of the crowd that came out to enjoy Rewind By The River, Friday, July 27, 2012.

Held in Downtown Bay City's Wenonah Park, the 2nd summer music festival drew 80's music enthusiasts from all over the area, for a night of great entertainment under the stars.

The free concert is the second annual charity concert put in effect by Great Lakes Bay Regional Wellness Alliance. All proceeds of the concert will go back to local charity groups and downtown preservation.

The event, organized by Old City Hall Restaurant, may have had owner Dave Dittenber and Manager, Tony Jeske, watching dark skies during the afternoon, but were ultimately pleased at the crowd in the park after the break in the rain.

Mega 80's, who hail from Detroit, and were named Hour Magazine's band of the year, include:
Vocals: Carey Denha
Drums: Mike Racette
Keys: Ron Abraham
Guitar: Mick Khzouz
Bass: Matt Webber

This talented group of musicians have an extensive play list that ranges from Billy Idol, Prince, Poison, to Violent Femmes, just to name a few and have entertained Bay City crowds several times.

Their lively music and OCH's delicious food and wine sampling in the VIP tent and a little cooperation from Mother Nature, made for a great night for all who went.

A special thanks go to the sponsors of the event:
Old City Hall Restaurant, Fabiano Brothers, 989 Design, DuRussel Insurance Agency, Citizens Bank, Dow, ACN, Catholic Federal, Herman Hiss & Company, Pro-Build, Great Lakes Bay Media Group, Chemical Bank, Caseway Industrial Products, Mount Pleasant Brewing Co., New Executive Mortgage LLC, Exhibition Services, Inc., CDI, American Kitchen, Barrier Technologies, Bud Light, Carsen Graphics Inc., and Donald Sabourin, DDS.
