'Electric Foam' Invades Westown Theatre What To Do This Weekend (08/23/2012)

So...what's on my agenda this weekend? Well, let's see...
There is a real variety of interesting things to do this upcoming weekend. I hope to be able to take advantage of at least a few of them and hope you can too!
Thursday night, help out the Bay Area Women's Center, a great organization, with their fundraiser 'Power of the Purse'. This is a special event at the Bay City Country Club and is one you won't want to miss. They'll have cocktails, gourmet food stations, silent auctions, live auctions and purses - lots and lots of purses!
Tickets for the event are $40 and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact Lynn Weaver, Director of Development, at 989-686-2251.
I am very excited for Friday night and the 'Electric Foam!!' show event at The Westown Theatre. This event which caters to the electronic dance music scene, will be sure to be a sell-out.

Saturday, have some fun and help out another great organization, the Bay City Elks Lodge #88 on August 25, 2012 at The Crump Fox Club, 760 Prevo Rd., Crump MI, for their Bar-B-Q Chicken Dinner and Turkey Shoot.
They will be offering "AWARD WINNING" bar-B-Q Chicken dinners for only $7.00....Including Grilled half chicken, cole slaw, baked beans and dessert. Beverages include soft drinks, coffee and ice tea.
After you've had a great meal, test your skill with a shot gun for a chance to win a turkey. Public welcome.
Saturday night, check out Honesty & The Liars playing at The Stables on Midland St in Bay City, MI. This band has a powerful female lead singer, great musicians and play a unique variety of songs. They are definitely in my top ten of local bands that I like to listen to and I guarantee you will like them too.
All in all, it will be another action packed weekend in Bay City, MI!
