Bay City, MI- Lumber Barons Brewery, the winner of 5 medals and 1 gold at the 2018 World Expo of Beer commercial competition, is changing up the menu and fun this summer on Midland Street.

BAY CITY FOOT BOWL, sometimes referred to as Fowling, is a hybrid game that combines the equipment of American football and bowling into one sport with a similar layout at horseshoes and corn hole. The object of Foot Bowl is for teams to be the first to knock down all the opponent's pins by throwing full-size footballs at 10 bowling pins positioned in a traditional bowling layout.

Manager Steve Coppler says, "We often yell at Michigan or Michigan State quarterbacks or Matthew Stafford of the Lions and say I could have made a better throw."

Coppler says, "Come try it, it is not as easy as it sounds."

4 Foot Bowl lanes are set up under the stars in the parking lot adjacent to the Stables Fire Pit. From now thru the month of June, it is FREE to try, so bring your friends for a great time, great beer and now a new menu in both the Brewery and The Stables Martini and Cigar Bar. Leagues are forming for the months of July until the snow flies and book your special event, birthday or bachelor party or company outing NOW!

NEW MENU: What goes better with Lumber Barons Beer than a new menu of Pub food at great low prices. Featuring new hours including Lunch on Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays. Open at 4 pm Monday-Thursday. Featuring Lumber Barons Signature Brewhouse Handcut Fries that you can customize with Seasonings like Cinnamon Sugar, Cayenne, Garlic, Sea Salt and Dips including Ranch, BBQ, Pizza, Malt Vinegar, Maple Syrup and Chocolate and Toppings including cheeses, meats, and veggies.

The menu also includes food that goes with Beer including Wood-Fired Brick Oven Pizzas, Beson's Ground Chuck Burgers, Baked Potato Crust Pizza, Stone Ground Kawkawlin Corn Nacho?s, Artison Cheese Board, Wedge Salad, Wood Fired Lumberjack Pretzel, Michigan Koegel Pickled Bologna and Crackers, Besons Handmade Sausage Sampler, LB Cheddar Ale Soup and Munger Baked Potato Bacon Soup, and much more.
