There will be No Michigan Idol Competition on Thursday, July 2, 2009, due to Bay City Fireworks Preview.

Competition will resume on Thursday, July 9, 2009:
The Michigan Idol Competition at the Stables Martini & Cigar Bar draws near to the last weeks of it's final segment. You can feel the heat as contestants compete for their last chance to make it to the finals spot.
Six Finalists will move on to a performance spot at the Labadie Pig Gig this summer at Veteran's Memorial Park on Bay City's West Side. One winner will be chosen to win a cash prize and a solo performance on Sunday, August 9, 2009 in front of headliner, Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels.

Michigan Idol judges include Josh Sharrow, of Impact Sound Entertainment, Tommy Anderson from Infinity & Paisley Fogg Bands and former Idol judge, George Lynch of Dokken (I mean Charter Media) fills in for Shawn Doyle.
(Above) Theo Deming of Next Media Group and Luke Silverman was in town with Brent Grunow who performed Friday night at the River Roar concert.
