Each and every year for the past four decades, I, as a Polish Catholic girl have looked forward to THE Polish event of the year, St. Stan's Festival!

It's the one event every year, now that I'm "getting" older and no longer attending polish weddings every weekend during the summer months, that I get to kick off my heels and hit the dance floor!

My children, all boys, ages 10, 12 and 14 now also look forward to the event every year. I am unsure if it's for the polka or for the rides, but either way, it is a memory each and every summer for my family!

It's definitely a class and family reunion for me personally. I can always count on seeing my ex-in-laws, high school buddies and business associates for a laid back, fantastic time! Not to mention, get a little "three step" in with them on the dance floor.

Covering this event each year is a pleasure for me, I hope you enjoy the pictures! Thanks to the St. Stan's Festival staff members who saw to it, my children were taken care of this year!

St. Stans Polish Festival is always a good time, this year was certainly no exception at the carnival!

Of course, the refreshments aren't bad either, even if it's not Miller Lite!
