It was like the good old days of the 1980's and 90's as the Big House bar re-opened over the past weekend. Opening night was Friday, April 30, 2010.

Owners of Impact Sound Entertainment, Josh Sharrow and Shawn Doyle recently took over as General Managers at the Big House Bar, (former location of Big House Poker Room)

It was like going back in time OR 'back to the future' as the Managers displayed a Delorean as in the 80's movie "Back to the Future" in front of the building, located at 510 Midland Street, Bay City.

Everything has been revamped, L.E.D. lighting has been added. Decorated in the theme of the 1980's and 90's -- including the Rubik's cube DJ booth, to the ghetto blaster painting under the black lights and the PAC-man emblems above the bar, and pictures galore of your favorite movies stars from the 80's and 90's.

Sharrow said, "We spent a lot of time giving the place a new look. There is no other place in Bay County that is doing this theme." "If the music is not from the 80's or 90's you won't hear it." laughed Sharrow.

According to Sharrow, there will be live bands, and break dancing competitions are in the plans for the future.

Doyle noted, the Big House can be reserved for Class Reunions, it's a perfect setting for the Classes of 80's and 90's.

The Big House is open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 8:00pm to 2:00am and NO COVER CHARGE EVER!
