Here is your opportunity to learn more than you ever wanted to know about beer, and learn by tasting them!!

The 1st ever Bay City Beer Bash: Microbrew Festival and Beer Tasting Event, comes to Veterans Memorial Park in Bay City from 1-6 PM on Saturday, July 8th and Sunday, July 9th, 2006.

Over 100 Beers from Michigan and Around the World will be available to sample over the 2 days.

Try beers from brewpubs and microbreweries around the state including:
  • Lumber Barons
  • Sullivan's Black Forest
  • Mountain Town Station
  • Bell's Brewery
  • Atwater Block Brewery
  • Big Buck
  • Wiltse's Brewpub.


  • Beers from Around the World including Warsteiner, Scottish and Newcastle Importers, and fine wines of Chateau de Leelanau Winery. Also represented will be new beers from traditional favorites Miller, Coors, Anheuser Busch, Molson, and Labatt Breweries.

    Beers will be judged and trophies presented by a panel of local media celebrities, business leaders, and politicians in several categories, plus you get to vote for the coveted "Peoples Choice" award and crowning of the 2006 Bay City Beer Bash Best Beer!

    The Bay City Beer Bash also features live musical entertainment from the Scott Baker Band (Saturday, July 8th) and Rum Runners (Sunday, July 9th).

    Delicious Foods will be available including Hooters Nearly World Famous Wings, Lumber Barons featuring BBQ and Prime Rib Sandwiches and much more.

    The Bay City Beer Bash is a fundraiser for the Wings of Mercy.Wings of Mercy is a group of Volunteer Pilots serving Michigan by providing FREE AIR TRANSPORTATION for patients with limited incomes needing treatment at distant medical centers.

  • Only $20.00 in advance, each ticket gets you twenty - 3 ounce samples. Get your tickets early as event is limited to first 2,000 tickets sold per day. Tickets are $30.00 at the gate days of event. Additional samples available for $1.50 with ticket purchase.
