The Toughman One Stop Fight Shop and Budweiser presents 2 great nights of Fights.

TOUGHMAN GOES PRO - PROFESSIONAL BOXING SERIES comes to The Dow Event Center on Saturday, December 16th featuring 10 professional boxing matches featuring the Tri Cities best professional fighters.

Headlining the card is Eric "Butterbean" Esch, known as the King of the Four Rounders, starting in boxing winning 18 Toughman events, now with a professional record of 72 wins (54 KO's), 7 losses, and 4 draws. Butterbean has fought such notables as Peter McNeeley and Larry Holmes. His round body (close to 400 lbs), bald head and vicious scowl, make him a menacing (yet highly entertaining) fight figure.

Butterbean has appeared on the Tonight Show 13 times, knocked out Johnny Knoxville in the hit movie Jackass, and fought twice at WWE's Wrestlemania. Butterbean now makes his home in Jasper, Alabama. Butterbean last fought in Saginaw 11 years ago in his 3rd pro fight and is looking forward to returning with a knockout win! Butterbean will be facing "The Tejano Pride" Joaquin Garcia of Saginaw.

The rest of the card includes debuts by Lee Thomas of Saginaw against Lance Anderson of Detroit; Anthony Cannon (1-2) of Saginaw versus Sean Purdy (2-2) of Detroit; Both Jimmy Hall (3-2) of Owosso and his son Corey Hall of Brant fight Chuck Henengar of Monroe and Reuben Troche of Detroit respectively;

Rick Dufty of Bay City looks to avenge his loss to Phillip Jewel of Detroit from this past summer;

C.J. Glover of Bay City battles Toledo's Dan Whetzel; former Tough man Champion and local favorite Ole "The Lumberjack" Thorson of Skidway Lake faces Sacramento, CA fighter Jerry Bunch;

Cory "Mad Bomber" Peterson, Bay City native, had an impressive 4th round knock-out against Eddie Tice in his Pro boxing debut on November 24, 2006. Peterson goes up against, Chicago's Johnny Higgins on Saturday night.

This past summer in Bay City at Hooters, (Click Here to preview.) Toughman Pro Boxing was a huge "hi" , now these fighters continue their careers at The Dow!

Kicking off the weekend on Friday, December 15th , The Toughman goes into a cage, with the Toughman MMA Cage Combat. Currently, MMA fighting is the hottest show on cable television, now see it live, in a steel cage. Toughman spokesman, Steve Coppler says the best extreme fighters from around the Midwest will battle in action packed Mixed Martial Arts. "This is the first time for a cage in Michigan," Coppler said.

The BUDWEISER Toughman Extreme Fight Weekend will begin at 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 15th and Saturday, December 16th at the The Dow Event Center.

"You go to the Dow to see the Spirit Hockey Team, but really to see some fights," Coppler went on to say. "Now come to the Dow and be guaranteed lots of fights!"
