Over 1,500 attended the "Summer 2011" Rewind Event held at Wenonah Park Bandshell. The "Winter Rewind" will be held at the Scottish Rite Masonic Ballroom in Downtown Bay City.

The Great Lakes Bay Regional Wellness Alliance to host "Rewind in the Winter" on Thursday January 26 2012.

The event will be held at the historic Scottish Rite Masonic Ballroom, located at 614 Center Avenue in Downtown Bay City. There will be a wine and beer tasting as well as a silent auction.

Old City Hall Restaurant will be catering Hor D' Oeuvres for the evening. All proceeds raised from the event will be donated to local charities and used to help fund local health fairs that will screen blood pressure, cholesterol, etc.

Dave Dittenber, (Pictured at Right) owner at Old City Hall is spearheading the event. "This is our first Winter Rewind," Dittenber said. Dittenber went on to explain that there have been two successful summer events -- Rewind by the River 2010 & 2011 -- held at the Wenonah Band Shell in Bay City.

The Mega 80's Band is very popular in the Great Lakes Bay Area," Dittenber went on to say. "We're hoping to have a huge fun event at the Masonic Ballroom to raise some money for charity and maybe make the Winter go by a little faster," Dittenber went on to say.

Audiences can look forward to popular 80's hit songs performed by Hour Magazine's band of the year, the Mega 80's. The Mega 80's ignite crowds with their stage performance linked to an 80's themed multi-media show, which is projected on a 20-foot screen as the band jams out.

There will be VIP Tables for sale as well as a Silent Auction during the event.

The Great Lakes Bay Regional Wellness Alliance would like to announce that "Rewind in the Winter" on Thursday January 26th at the Historic Scottish Rite Masonic Ballroom has been added along with "Rewind by the River" on Friday July 27th held at Wenonah Park. The band Mega 80's is the featured act at each of these two events and is part of the 2012 fundraising campaign.

The Great Lakes Bay Regional Wellness Alliance was founded in 2009 to provide health services to uninsured residents and to help raise funds for other charities in the Great Lakes Bay Region.

Some of these charities include: The Toni and Trish House for the Terminally Ill, Studio 23, Eric James Blair Scholarship Foundation, Freeland Area Athletics, Hell's Half Mile Film Festival, The Bay Area Family YMCA, and many more.

The organization has raised more than $25,000 for these local residents and charities and hopes that with your attendance to these great events will help 2012 will be another great year.
