Veterans' Day is a moment in time set aside to honor those brave men and women who have laid their lives on the line to protect and defend our great country. All too often we are made to remember just how great their sacrifices have been and are still occurring, but on this sunny November 11th, it became a bit more in the City of Bay City. It became a re-dedication of the Veterans' Memorial in Bay City after some much needed sprucing making it a truly inviting venue to sit and reflect along the banks of the Saginaw River.

Kicking off the ceremony was Bay County District Court Judge Timothy J. Kelly as he lead the crowd in the signing of the National Anthem followed by a volley of rifle fire by the Bay county Veterans' Council Honor Guard.
