Jeff Yantz is all about his fans.
Case in point - if he had the winning $1 billion plus Power Ball ticket, he would still perform at 8:30 p.m. Feb. 19 at O's Pub & Grill, 123 W. Midland Road, Auburn.
"If I had won, I would do the exact same show I'm doing," he said "But the laser light show would have been amazing."
With Yantz on guitar and Farmhand James Nelson on accordion, melodia and organ, the two will walk through past, present and future songs, along with a few covers during the evening.
"I'm going to play music from my latest CD," Yantz said. "Some of the new stuff we've been sprinkling into our (Barn Hands) live sets. I'll be doing from One Tricky Pony, earlier stuff from years ago. Stuff from "Dance in the Rain," and "That's the All of It."
The new CD, titled "Face for Radio," will be out soon.
When it comes to writing those tunes Yantz says ideas come in bits and pieces."I am constantly thinking and writing down phrases and recording melody lines," he said. "I've been doing that for 20 some years. When I get to the point that I have time to write or put something together, I have a stock pile to go to. Occasionally I have a song that just smacks me right in the head and just writes itself."
Yantz is hoping all the fans come on out and shake off those winter doldrums.
"Come and hang out with us," he said.
Those who can't make it can catch Yantz at 8 p.m. Feb. 27 at Tri-City Brewing Co., before returning to the Governor's Quarters for an 8 p.m. concert March 11.
