Since 2005 Parkapalooza has given mid-Michigan the very best end-of-the-summer beach party under the sun! The festival is held on the Sunday after Labor Day in September at Midland County's Sanford Lake Park.Parkapalooza has hosted an estimated 26,000 visitors, showcased nearly 50 great musical acts and donated over $10,000 to a number of worthwhile charities.Originally, Palooza was envisioned as a straight forward concert on the beach, but it has evolved into so much more.

Each year brings a host of surprises as we work to make the festival better in every way, but at the core, it is still a music festival. We are indebted to the many musicians who have volunteered their time and talent over the years. It is essential to Dstreet and The County Parks that the festival maintains its family atmosphere, and history has proven us successful.

Each year our guests range from tots to seniors. The concert and all activities at Parkapalooza are free aside from a small parking fee that goes to the County Parks to help off-set their festival related expense. That cost is currently six dollars per car load and includes access to all park amenities as well as the festival. Walk-ins and people arriving by boat are still without charge.New for 2015 is Parkapalooza Bay City at Wenonah Park. Now you have two great events to bookend the summer.

We hope everyone is as excited about this event as we are, remember this is a completely FREE and family friendly event, as well as our FIRST Parkapalooza in Bay City. Please pack everyone up and bring a cooler lets start this summer like you all helped us close out last summer.
