It's absolutely ludicrous to even consider a toll-bridge in our community. Most of us cannot afford another expense on our budgets. Let's get our big thinkers together and come up with a solution that is viable. One that promotes further progress, not regress.

Large trucks do more damage to bridges than cars. And the federal government has to address our total infrastructure and create JOBS here in America instead of wasting billions in other countries around the world. Let's put America first! Bernie

Saginaw closed its bridges to shipping traffic years ago and are there some options there to consider or additional fundding?

I can't see people of Bay City willing to pay a daily tax in the form of two bridge tolls, which would obviously drive traffic to the sites of the two bridges that will not be part of the toll system. Whole issue needs more thought and refection and full consideration of all options. Thanks Dave for staying on top of this!
