Why didn't Governor Granholm's tax break for the film industry encourage Guy Ritchie to buy more candy at St. Laurent's? ;-)
Your idea of a Madonna tour is a good one, and the city (or individual entrepreneurs) should really be capitalizing on it. That--and the Bay City Rollers' (dart board) connection, is the thing that friends in other states and Japan always ask us about. |

In this case it would have been a good thing. Let Madonna have the opportunity to grieve in privacy. Even this story is an invasion into something very personal. Though not sensational, it still intrudes on someone's life. She was not here to promote something, she was here for a very sad family occasion. Details of what she and her children did should not have been reported. |
